Fans cooed when CJ and Sarah let him show his softer side, they wanted him to get in on with Rebecca and Blair. Todd couldn't remain a psychopath, that's impossible, but he will always have sociopathic tendencies. To me, they are still showing his inner turmoil and the fact that he will always be an outsider.
