Nice Erin. I like the analysis of Luke 16 which I had never even thought of before.

On whether Christ had to be human, however, I'm a little confused. You say Christ had to be human because its a continuation of non-violence as a model? Why do we need a continuation? This gets back to the question I asked in class about why the incarnation, and, if I remember right, Jackson's answer was that it matters theologically, but not in terms of this anti-sacrificial model. So at least according to Girardian thought, I'm not sure Christ has to be there at all. He is another example though.
