Admitting right away that I know nothing of quantum entanglement, I'm still pretty sure that complex or compound mimetic patterns exist. First, from personal experience most of us can say we admire different people for different things. I'd like to imitate the scholarly habits of many persons, but I would never dress the way they do. Because human lives are so complex, and we encounter so many different situations so often, we often try to model ourselves after someone, and we may be involved in a simultaneous rivalry with someone else, and later in the day go to a stoning where we participate in the Scapegoat mechanism. A literary example of this is the aspect of Lear, Regan and Goneril that we talked about. While the sisters rival each other, they may be simultaneously imitating Lear in their rivalry.
