Vi sua questão no dia em que você postou, mas fiquei esperando a participação dos colegas para não ser a primeira e não conduzir a discussão.

Acho que quando as pessoas estão na sala de aula elas ficam mais dependentes. Uma vez tive uma aluna que me disse que prefere aula presencial porque ela suga tudo do professor e no online é ela e o texto. Vejo que o self-access funcionaria um pouco assim também e o aluno teria que fazer mais tentativas e erros do que debaixo das asas do professor.
