Pessoal,

Achei muito interessante este cap�tulo 7 de Dickinson (1991 p:121), no qual � abordada a quest�o da prepara��o.

"Psychological preparation is concerned first with persuading learners to try self-instruction, secondly with facilitating a change of attitude about language learning away from false assumptions and prejudices, and thirdly with helping learners to build their self-confidence in their ability to work independently of the teacher."

Acho este caminho o ideal a ser percorrido. Persuadir os aprendizes a tentar a auto-instru��o n�o � uma tarefa f�cil por in�meros fatores - cren�as, cultura, falta de informa��o, falta de educa��o formal, desmotiva��o, auto-estima baixa, etc... Por�m, se este aprendiz se sentir encantado pelo centro e seus recursos, ele passar� a acreditar que � capaz de aprender desta forma. Realiza-se assim, a segunda parte citada pelo autor - mudan�a de atitude e cren�as. Chegar� a um n�vel que o aluno se sentir� capaz de andar com suas pr�prias pernas ent�o.

Como vimos, � um processo que n�o acontecer� de imediato, requer tempo e paci�ncia. Mas, as vantagens do resultado ser�o superiores �s desvantagens, n�o �?

Claro, como afirma o autor, estes componentes psicol�gicos t�m que ser �teis para os professores tamb�m.

Na escola regular, creio que estes procedimentos podem ser seguidos tamb�m, dentro de suas limita��es.
