Muito bons os comentários e relato de experiência do Marcus, bem como as citações do texto de CRABBE (1993)! Ensino de estratégias de aprendizagem, perseverança e criatividade são, realmente, cada vez mais necessárias num esforço para a busca de aprendizagem baseada em autonomia.

Aquele relato de caso você mencionou me lembrou CANDY (1989, p.101, §2): “... an educator may be able to give learners freedom, it is not possible to give them autonomy”. Parece-me que o(a) educador(a) precisa ser capaz de construir liberdade para, então, outorgá-la. Antes disso, é preciso alforriar-se, arriscar-se, sair da mesmice e buscar algo como um momentâneo quilombo didático-pedagógico (já que, conforme afirma CANDY, 1989, p.103, citando von Glaserfeld, “man does not merely respond to the environment, he construes it”). Penso que essas eventuais fugas de programação/cronograma, de material didático adotado, de metodologia, de controle exagerado, etc., são fundamentais para a promoção da autonomia de ambos: professor(a) e aluno(a).
