Concordo com vocês!!! O que defendem está de acordo com o que afirmam BREEN & MANN (1997): aquelas seis maneiras de o professor agir em sala de aula (“being a resource, decision sharing, facilitating collaborative evaluation, managing the risks, being a patient oportunist and getting support”) “may create space for learners to exercise their autonomy in learning” and “entail that, AS A TEACHER, I NEED TO RECOGNIZE AND ASSERT MY OWN AUTONOMY” (1997, p.148).

Parece-me inegável que uma possível “pedagogia para a autonomia” exige essa postura decidida do(a) professor(a); é condição “sine qua non” para que ela tenha existência real; é parte do que o Fabiano Leite, citando professora da FALE, chamou de “pequenas revoluções” que nos cabe experimentar e conduzir, se quisermos, mesmo, contribuir para o desenvolvimento da autonomia de nossos(as) alunos(as).

Sua citação, Regina, por lapso de digitação, omitiu o adjetivo “grading” antes de “system” (cf. YANG, 1998, p.128, última sentença). Penso que esse “grading” faz diferença, porque o autor considera a resistência a mudança própria dos sistemas (sobre isso, lembremos-nos de BREEN & MANN, 1997, p.139). Releiam aquele trecho de YANG (1998) e me corrijam eventual cisma, por favor!
