The film festival starts in a couple of days, and the traffic is already godawful. It marks the beginning of our spring season, and it gets bigger every year. Could be like Sundance someday.

This year, they have a "women in film" theme. Diane Ladd, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, and Mary Stuart Masterson will all be here with films they directed. Helen Hunt has one, too, but I'm not sure if she's showing up.

One of my daughter's friends had a film accepted, but I'm not sure which one it is. I may go see it with her, if I don't have to do jury duty. *sigh*
