If the grid goes down, we'll have far greater problems than people being unable to get their depression medication. As long as the grid is up, I think people who are functioning well with their depression meds may as well stay on them.

Anecdotal evidence coupled with a study that shows lots of people get misdiagnosed and misprescribed doesn't invalidate years of empirical evidence that certain drugs are beneficial for countering the effects of certain conditions. It just means we need to research it more and make sure the right drugs are being prescribed for the right things.
