Yeah, Aussie shepherds are very smart, too. As much as I hate to admit it, poodles are as well. lol.

Zeke's a very smart dog, but he's way too alpha. He doesn't really seek to please anyone except himself. Trip, our first BC, was the Einstein of Border Collies, and he wasn't alpha at all. Trip pretty much understood everything we said, and even learned to spell a lot of words. He was infinitely more intuitive than Zeke. He always knew what I was going to do before I knew. :-)
