I think I have NEVER been shopping the day after Thanksgiving. I've been a stay at home mom for 21 years, so I've always been able to shop during the day on school days... which is BY FAR the best time to shop :) My 2nd choice is a weeknight. I do love when stores stay open until midnight since I'm a night person.

I can honestly say I could not possibly want anything bad enough to have to shop on the Friday after Thanksgiving or any Saturday or Sunday between Thanksgiving and Christmas. LOL

I can't believe I've never heard the term Black Friday... guess I've been under a rock for the last 6 years (and prior to that I was out of the country!).
