I will try to post a better critique tomorrow, Cass, but I do need to point out that my problems were primarily with the procedures and not the people. Every nurse was wonderful, the ambulance personnel who transported me from the local to the regional medical center were wonderful, the first doctor was fine, the other support personnel were pleasant and efficient. Both facilities were far tidier than the average American hospital, so no complaints there. I would like to call the rest of it a comedy of errors, but, from my point of view, it was really, really, not funny.
