While I can't guarantee that these treatments would work on everybody, they certainly worked on me, and have worked on other people I've passed them along to. Neither is especially pleasant, but what works, works. :-)

I contracted a godawful case of thrush long ago, when my first bout with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever was misdiagnosed and I was given an inappropriate antibiotic. For months, I took copious amounts of whatever was the standard treatment for thrush at the time, and it only grew worse. Then a healer friend gave me the following treatment:
To one gallon of purified water, add three tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (the real stuff, not the "flavored" kind) and two teaspoons of light molasses. Drink an entire gallon of this stuff over the course of a day, every day until the thrush is gone. (For me, it was gone in about a week.) You must know in advance if your kidneys are healthy enough to consume this much, and it is a real challenge to drink that much of anything in one day for most people. While taking this treatment, do not drink any carbonated beverages, sugared or otherwise. Avoid sugared drinks altogether, although it's okay to have some naturally-sweetened juices. Mr. Lynx and I experienced so many positive benefits from adding vinegar to our drinking water, that we continue to do it to this day.

As for IBS, I had it for years. Mr. Lynx used to joke that I was familiar with every public restroom the entire length of I-40, and that was not far from the truth. Then I took the following cure:
To 4 ounces of purified water, add three teaspoons of black walnut hull extract. This must be sipped over a 15-minute period, never gulped. I guarantee it's the nastiest thing you'll ever taste. Then, take seven clove capsules and seven wormwood capsules of the standard size available at health food stores. Do this once a week for a month, and it should do the trick. Some people can't handle the full amount of walnut hull extract immediately, and must work up to it over time. These are toxic substances, and must not be used more than once per week. Mr. Lynx and I have continued to use this treatment as an excellent parasite purge, about once per month.
