He tipped his head as he watched his brother reach out to Evie and smiled as he saw how happy Durgan was.) It does me good to ken that ye are happily mated, lad. (That was about as close as he would get to admitting that he worried abotu Durgan, and his previously antisocial behavior patterns. Durgan had wanted to leave Lallybroch, to go find his place in the world.. and Dane would have been powerless to stop him. But then little Evie had come to him in his dreams and everything had changed for him in that moment. It was enough to make any older brother pleased. He thought about Tiernan briefly, and decided that it would be best to get the bonding over with sooner than later. Still, it would put a certain crimp in his plans. He would have to get Tiernan working on clearing the location he picked for his mate. That would work.) Well, I should find the Roderick lad and get him to work. I have a spot in mind for my nest and I need to clear some woods. If I must be bonded, then the lad will help me get my work done, aye?
