WHich was most likely why he had on his kid gloves around her and was taking extra care to be gentle with her. In his mind he was already planning out what he had to do for the remainder of the day.. Tiernan had agreen to go with him to the location he had chosen and work on clearing the space for him while they bonded. He tipped his head a little.) Why din ye try taken a wee kip.. ye look a wee bit tired lass.. (He wasn't sure he wanted her knowing that he was bonding with Tiernan.. she got really territorial, and though it was fun when he released himself from Tier and she claimed him as hers again.. well, she didn't need or deserve the stress right now. His hand ran down her arm and settled over her small hand.) There is nae so much to do around here that the staff canna help ye with, or do for ye. Tis why we have them, aye? Besides.. wi' my brother sniffing around Evies skirts we will have the place to ourselves. (He looked pleased with that, knowing that his brother would have taken Evie to her chambers while he deposited the necklace.. but that in a few days when her season hit they would closet up in Durgan's lair.) At least until later on, aye.. then ye can talk wi' her and get yer fill before the change. In the meantime, I would like to get some work done on the nesting site.
