Actually, the thing that seemed to get the bairn settled down the fastest was the sound of Dane's crooning voice. They were still rolling a bit but not nearly as actively as they had been just a few minutes ago. Watching Dane curiously, she tipped her head and let out a big, deep breath before she headed over to where he was settled into the nest. It took a few moments of looking at it, nudging it, listening to the songs that they were singing and letting them relax her before she finally climbed into the nest and settled down on her side, stretching out beside him. In her usual fashion, she tucked herself beneath his large wing, letting it shield her from the rain and the brisk wind. There, in the nest and nestled close to him, she wasn't cold at all and was actually quite comfortable. A quiet sigh escaped her lips as she let her eyes close and her body drift off into a comfortable sleep. Sometimes, no words were necessary and this was one of them. She was tired and sore and had a headache and he was offering her comfort and safety and she was more then willing to take him off on his offer. It wasn't long at all until she was fast asleep, more then happy to just let him take care of her. It was a big difference from the girl he had first picked up so many months ago, they proud, independent girl who wanted nothing to do with him.
