(He opened his mouth to retort that he did not have an attitude, but scented his brother and became lost to curiosity. Forgetting his pouting, he crawled up higher on Tiernan's shoulder and gazed towards the stairs, waiting for Durgan to appear with news of his mate. He didn't like knowing that she was upset and exhausted without being able to be sure she was alright. They had eggs to think about now as well. Feeling the itch of annoyance creep over him again he snorted, tail twitching near Tiernan's left nipple, just over Kerri's hand.) (He looked over as Dane crept up to settle on his shoulder, sighing as he refocused his attention on Kerri. It was strange how he had once devoted all of his time to the dragon, laying in the dark and talking to him in his cell.. and had never once felt trapped by their bond. Now, though, as he held his fiance and thought of the idea of going to bed, he realized just what an inconvenience it was. It was going to be hard to keep his hands to himself when it came to Kerri, but he would have to. He smiled at her, watching as she curled up against him in such a childlike manner. He felt his love for her swell within him like a balloon, fit to burst.) Aye, we can go up to our chambers. (He murmured to her, smoothing a hand over her hair as Durgan came into the room. He looked over, sensing that the brothers were communicating.) (His spikes raised as Durgan came in, then flattened again as he inched forward, eager for news. He frowned as he thought of Bree, sedated because she would not calm down.. wanting desperately to talk to her to find out why she fashed so much over this whole situation. It would be over soon.. for the time being. His head cocked and his spikes rose again as Durgan mentioned an uprising.) Where is this happening? (He muttered the words, closing his eyes as he tried to seperate from Tiernan.. a Laird could not protect his family and lands if he was bonded to a human and trapped. His weakened state made it so that he could not seperate, and tore a pained grunt from Tiernan as the magyck fizzled out around them.) I canna seperate from him yet.. ye will have to act in my stead should we need to. I dinna want anyone to ken that I am nae in my own body, Durgan.
