They had never spoken about whether or not their relationship was an exclusive one, she had just kind of assumed since they were about to have a family, they shared a room, they were bonded - but now she was wondering if she had assumed to much. She hadn't felt any desire towards anyone else since she met Dane, really, and found it strange suddenly that she hadn't. There were beautiful men around lallybroch, beautiful dragons who were impressive and powerful - maybe not quite as powerful and strong as Dane was definitely fascinating in their own rights. Why hadn't she been attracted to one of them? Had she just not looked at them enough? Her head cocked in thought as she figured it out, trying to decide what it was that made her feel so attached to Dane physically, when he could so obviously want Kerri in his bed. Her tongue peeked out from between her sharp teeth, flicking against the air before she drew it back in and ruffled her feathers. He seemed happy enough with their physical relationship, seemed satisifed in bed though he had never actually said anything to that effect. He had always kissed her afterwards and held her and she had just taken that as him admitting he had enjoyed their sex together but...maybe again she was just assuming to much. Still, she wasn't angry, she was just thoughtful and contemplative. It was strange to think, at times, that she was carrying this male's children. It felt like they didn't even know each other half the time, she had no idea that Dane considered her his wife because they never talked about anything other than an immediate problem or mundane, inconsequential things.
