(He leaned towards her as she rested on her belly, putting a little of his weight against her in a companionable sort of manner, his head raised but angled down so that he could watch her as she rested. (He muttered, his gaze following her as she laid back down and closed her eyes. He lowered his head to rest on the curve of her shoulder, gaze slowly moving through the trees across the clearing. He shrugged slightly as she asked about Tiernan and Kerri.) Tiernan would like to, and I think Kerri is prepared for the move as well. (He lifted his head and looked down at her as she asked if they would live in the castle, and realized that she did not like that idea.) Nay, the keep is for my family alone. I will nae tolerate another male living within my home.. and since Durgan hardly passes as a male, he is the only exception. (His teeth flashed as he spoke, though he was teasing. He was adament about the fact that his home was a sanctuary for his mate and children.. no other male would reside within their walls.) We will find a place for Tiernan and Kerri on the lands, if there is no place for them we will have a home built for them. (When she lifted her head to look at him, he leaned down and rubbed his cheek against hers, nudging her lightly in reassurance, not realizing that he was doing the exact thing he had thought himself incapable of not even twenty minutes earlier. He was reassuring and being affectionate with his mate. He had just started to purr when she blatantly asked him about Kerri, and he went dead silent, pulling back to look down at her with a slightly shocked expression. Of course he looked at Kerri.. she was a beautiful woman.) She is attractive to me. But she is nae my mate. (He said, his tone just as matter of fact as hers, as though his words were all that were needed to explain the situation to her. Dragon males were allowed to look at the menu.. and hell, most of them placed their orders as well, but Dane had not so much as touched Kerri.)
