(He still had that lopsided smirk on his face when Durgan asked him about the McKerods. It was wicked fun to digress at length about his romps with Bree.. he had thoroughly enjoyed telling his brother how he had pleasured the lass in dragon form in the middle of the forest.. driven her to completely forget that she was exposed in the open. Och, but that had been fun. She had repaid him in spades for his attentions, something that only made him want to repeat the entire meeting whenever he could. Turning his head slightly, he slanted dark irredescent blue eyes on his brother and shrugged a little.) I dinna think it is something the McKerod initiated, if that is what ye mean. They aren't the type to align themselves with the MacRae clan.. at least nay unless they were forced into it. (It wasn't the McKerod he was concerned about, not in the least. The males of that clan were widely known as passive leaders, who preferred diplomacy to any sort of agression. But the MacRae, who had several strong young males, were widely known for behaving quite like the mobs of America.. complete with a don and a thoroughly dictatorial leadership. He sighed, turning his hand over to investigate the bite mark bree had left there the night before, which just made him smirk and shake his head a little. She was a feisty female, his Bree, and he highly appreciated that trait in a female. Durgan's earlier statement came back to him then and he chuckled.) Ye ken, I appreciate yer lass because she spares me the earbleeds I used to get from all that pent up talk swirling around inside Bree. Tis a marvelous thing, how women can chat. Marvelous and frightening. (He laid his head back on his chair and let out a distinctly male sound of appreciation for the sunlight and cool breeze.)
