For a moment, when her body clenched so violently and he could hear her crying out in his mind, he nearly paniced. It seemed like he might have hurt her but then he looked down and there she was, sheer bliss all over her features and he found himself roaring outloud, the sound echoing through the keep and across lallybroch as he found his release inside his mate. His hand spread across her stomach, holding her down gently as he felt himself fill her, it seemed to go on forever in his mind and when he finally stopped climaxing, he felt shaky and a bit drained. His head dropped down and he tried valiantly to catch his breath, noticing that she looked quite worn out herself. No covered were around them, they seemed to have kicked them off the bed perhaps, so her body was open to his view and he groaned again, nuzzling her forehead against the curve of her neck. Remaining that way as long he could, he was finally forced to withdraw from her with a low, content groan. One hand slung over the edge of the bed to grab a blanket, drawing it over both their bodies so that neither would get a chill and once that was all settled, he gazed at her. Well, yer now truly my mate, lass, tis no backing out of this now. Ye are stuck with me. He smiled a touch as he brushed his lips across her cheekbone, watching her for any sign of displeasure or second thoughts. He would understand if she decided she didn't want to be with him - it would damn near kill him - but he would understand. He was by no means the magnifacent, powerful dragon his brother was, he knew he paled in comparison. Still, he couldn't help but that maybe some part of her really did see past his physical appearance and want him for who he was on the inside...
