"I think he is almost out, everything looks like it's pretty smashed up in there, huh?" The light was now streaming through the largest egg and the two middle ones were well on their way to catching up to their big brother. With her eyes focused on the egg, she smiled brightly, amazed at the fact that their baby was about to come out and meet them. Tears, sentimental pricks of emotions, pricked at her eyes as she bit her lip, waiting anxiously for him. A second later, a scaley, red, awkward, baby rolled out of the egg, somersaulting directly in front of them until he was splayed out on his belly, all legs going every which direction and his head resting nearly on her foot. Her eyes widened dramatically as she leaned forward, her voice a sweet murmur. "Hello there sweetheart....you did so good..." She crooned softly to him, the baby opening his mouth as he recognized his mother and his need for food all in one. Springing up from Dane's arms, she all but jogged over to where the food was already prepared by her very ahead of the game, mate. Grabbing some small pieces, she carefully ripped them up into shreds and then lowered them down to feed to him - careful to avoid the the sharp teeth. Her eyes turned in wonder Dane as the baby scrambled up to get closer to her, tearing the denim of her jeans in his haste to get more food. "Hush, hush baby....your mam has plenty of food for you. Your Da never lets me go hungry and he won't let you either." Though she was leaning against Dane once more, she was kind of in her own little world with her child, still giving him pieces of the meat. After a moment, she looked over to check on the other two eggs but then turned her attention back to the little one in her lap, the tiny little being who was swallowing up meat as he eyed the man above the woman he recognized as his mam.
