Reminds me of an fiance (which is why he's old and I didn't marry him) when he'd take me out to dinner then make a comment like I hope you're not going to waste my money and throw that up later. He, too liked a skinny girlfriend and he would condone ana behaviour but not mia. Not good. The only time my husband gets angry with me now is if I don't call him and tell him I'm struggling and am contemplating binging or purging or otherwise ask for help. He has NEVER condemned me or my actions past or present. He has NEVER called me names...just the opposite. He has NEVER thrown in my face what I already know - that this ED is a disease and is not healthy for me and it CAN ruin my life. Not that I am ruining my life. There's a difference ~ it's the disease and my husband knows that and helps me to separate the two. Anyone who calls you names of any kind is not looking out for your best interest. No excuses! You deserve better and someone to love you and support you...not put you down.

I don't know how educated he is on the subject - perhaps he needs more information to be more tolerant, understanding, loving and supportive. I hope things work out better for you, Rita. You know you always have support here.
