Jane,

please try to get more than 8 grams! I buy nutrition bars, with 21 grams of protein and I have two of them a day. 21 grams is 42% of the protein you need (based on a 2000 calorie diet, which I don't eat, but hey...).
I buy Carbrite Diet bars from netrition.com. They have no artificial sweetners and 2-2.5 grams of carbs a piece. They taste really good too! My favorite flavors are chocolate raspberry and s'mores... Because of ana I find it hard to eat; so, I eat these to get the calories/protein I need.

Give em a try!!!

Lara
