I didn't expect to react so strongly either, but when I heard it on the news I just felt all numb. It's like Si said, he was such a huge personality it was like he was indestructable. And such a good hearted, harmless person too. But nature is just as cruel as it is kind, and at least he achieved a lot in his life time. His family seem to be the kind of really motivated people who would want to carry on his work too, so I'm sure Steve Irwin's achievements won't die with him.
