He sighed softly, his hand on Gia's lower back as he led her into the apartment and closed the door behind them. When Reese went storming into her room he had to close his eyes for a second to keep from rolling them - just one childish reaction to her own childish reaction. "Can we skip the teen years with our kid?" He asked his brow furrowed as he looked down at Gia, knowing she was hungry. He led her over to the table to sit down and then went to go get her a drink and to put her food on her plate before he set it down on in front of her. "Go ahead and eat, I am going to go talk to her." He smiled at Gia for a moment before he went to go get Bambi her treat and then made his way down the hall to where Reese was staying. He knocked briefly before pushing in, his arms crossing over his chest as he looked down at her. "Braden would kick my ass for letting you leave school today, Reese. This is his job, you know, this isn't going to be the last time he leaves you, far from it. If you want an adult relationship with him, you are going to have to learn how to handle this kind of shit better. This is real life, baby, Braden is the best of the best and a lot of people want him to do their work for them. It's just what he does. You can't stop eating and sleeping everytime he leaves, he's not the kind of man who can handle pressure like that." He sighed, frowning a little. "And you were just out and out rude to Gia, she doesn't deserve that and neither do I." So he was lecturing a bit but she needed to understand these things and get them through her head - besides it was good practice for his own kid.
