(Her eyes moved over him, from his bare feet to his rakishly handsome face, and she sighed a little.. sort of embarassed about what she wanted to ask him. When Destiny stood on her hind legs to look up on the bed, she reached a hand out to stroke her dark fur, looking sheepish for a moment.. but then he was standing over her and she realized she could either make something stupid up or just ask him.) Uhm.. would.. would you nap with me? (She asked, getting it out and then looking up at him with that oddly sheepish expression. She shifted just a little, her hand still splayed on her belly.) The baby won't settle down and I can't rest when he's like this.. (She said, by way of explaining. She was quite nervous about admitting that she still had feelings for him.. quite strong feelings, in fact. She had this sickening feeling that he might just become reserved around her then, like he would try to let her down easy.. and that would be the worst thing in the world. Even worse than keeping her emotions to herself. He made it hard though, when he was so attentive, when he wanted to do things with her for the baby. It made her think of family.. and how theres would be broken and yet somehow he would make it work. Yes, she would be lonely and keep her feelings to herself for the sake of the baby. That was all there was to it. But she could want a little comfort, right? That wasn't so bad.. friends gave comfort, didn't they?)
