He smiled sweetly at her words about the boy looking like him, a low breath escaping his lips in a rush. His eyes slid shut, lingering that way for a long moment but were forced open when the nurse came in to check and see how far she was diliated and all that. Hazel eyes watched as the nurse touched her in the intimate places that he had been keeping himself from for the past 8 months or so. Actually, it was probably closer to 9 months. A quick run down in his mind assured him that it was exactly eight months almost since he had last touched her intimately. That encounter had not been the best, that was when she had freaked out, turned him down, destroyed his confidence and his hearts. His lip tucked between his teeth at that thought, pushing it away before he allowed himself to dwell on it. Now was not the time to be thinking about his sex life. Obviously, he had done well with her nine months ago because that's when she had to have gotten pregnant. His lip tucked between his teeth again as he sighed and looked down at her, tearing his eyes away from the nurse. "Good thing the nursery is already huh?" He questioned before his brows raised. "Shit." His language caused the nurse to raise her own brow. "The dogs, they are probably worried, I should call and have someone go and get them. Braden and Reese will." He squeezed her hand once more before he let her go to turn to the phone, dialing Braden's number and quickly giving him the rundown. The nurse seemed to raise a brow and smirk, shaking her head as she mouthed 'dogs' to Gia. What kind of man was that concerned about his dogs when his son was about to be born?
