"I don't know...he only stopped crying when there was no light or noise." He stated softly, looking down at Gia before he moved his eyes back to the baby. He was calming now, it seemed, resting and recooperating from his screaming session. His hand coasted over the boys cheek as he spoke. "Everything seemed to hurt him, the lights, the noise, the tv...everything." His eyes dropped down to his son, his brow furrowed a little. "Kind of reminded me of Remy when he has one of his episodes..." Once more his hazel eyes drifted to Gia again, his expression showing his confusion and grief. "He seems ok though...he kept scrunching up his eyes and his cheeks got all red but right now he seems ok." He bit his lip gently, letting out a soft breath. "I don't know what to do, Gia..." He felt helpless, like he had in the hospital when they took Ryan away from him. He'd sworn then that no one would ever take his son from him again, not ever. Anything Ryan required, he would do. He would quit his job - despite how much he loved it - if he needed to do so in order to fully care for his son. He just wished, desperately, that he knew how to take care of him. At the moment, he was completely and totally at a loss at how to make things better for the infant. Sure, he had figured out that it was the lights and sound that were bothing Ryan and he had figured out the way to make the baby feel better was to take him into the office but hell, they couldn't keep him in silence, in the dark, for his entire life. What the hell were the supposed to do now? For all his intelligence and all his training, he had no way to help his son and that killed him inside.
