(She couldn't have put into words just how pleased she was that he hadn't overreacted as Kevin used to.. he'd been the sort of guy to get angry about her injuries, to overreact and insist that she be more careful - he had almost taken it out on her that she had been injured in the line of duty. Smiling at him, she slipped into the robe and moved with him to the sofa, letting him take care of her since she could deal with his concern a lot better than she could deal with overprotective anger.) Of course.. (She said with a little laugh as he kissed her forehead and moved into the kitchen, smiling down at Bambi as the dog walked over to lay her head on her thigh, and ran her hand back over her broad head. Crooning to her softly, she tugged on one of her ears and got an affectionate lick to her hand.. it seemed her bedmate was starting to really really like her.) I think I dreamed about pizza.. (She said after a moment as the realization came to her, looking over her shoulder to where he was and letting her eyes wander over his form.)

  - He cocked a brow, smirking a touch. "I guess they are going to get married before he leaves." He shrugged a little, unsure what he thought about that. "I mean, its obvious that he loves her and vice versa but it just seems kinda sudden you know?" He nodded a little before he looked back to her. "Remember when you asked me about the desk job and if it bored me?" He paused a second. "I never really liked being in the line of fire, kind of always wanted to have what Remy has and I wanted to be able to be there for my family if I ever had one so its something I took into consideration when I took the job I did." He smiled a little, twisting some cheese around his finger before he bit it off and ate it. "Cheese is good...how do you feel about mushrooms?" (NT) -- Skeeter, 02.21
