(She followed him without a word, as though she wanted to go with him, partially because she knew she couldn't get away since he had a gun and partially because now that he knew about her they had a sort of unwanted bond between them. He could blow her cover with a single word now, and she was in on this little coup that was going on. She bit her lip as she thought about what it would be like to find her partner being tortured and since it made her feel like throwing up, she pushed the thought away and watched him dry his dog instead. It was sort of homey and domestic to watch him move about his house so comfortably... ) He's going to expect me to check in within the next 24 hours. (She said in a soft tone, as though it was a thought that had slipped out of her mouth.) If you can think of something inteligible that will lead him off track I can feed it over.
