He waited to answer her until they were all the way upstairs and his door was firmly shut behind them. He knelt down, grabbing a towel that was folded on the floor by the door and started drying off Bambi, the dog had a tendancy to run in the waves when they went out. "Yeah..I think so. Jester is a tough guy, about as tough as they come I guess." He stated softly, thinking suddenly about the way Haylie had been touching the other man in the hospital. He was quiet for a long moment before he spoke again. "I guess he still requiring morphine to even handle the pain though." He bit his lip as he stood up, thinking about his pure, innocent little Haylie. "His temporary partner is the one who found him, she saw him being tortured." He sighed, running a hand down his hand as he took the towel into the kitchen and opened the large cabinet looking doors that held the laundry nook so he could toss it in the wash before he turned to get the bottle of wine he had opened earlier and poured them both another glass. "I haven't gotten an update in a day or so." He sighed deeply, obviously worried about the 'rogue' crew. "Hopefully, she'll be calling me back soon because I think that Younger has gotten a tip on where they are. They need to be moved until all this is figured out."
