Creating only soundless steps muffled against the dusty floor, he wearily strolled into the derelict building. The surrounding air was thick and musty -- he wondered when the last time a sermon was held -- and fell into a steady pace towards the front. Eyes, that of a creamy honey colour, searched for the sign of the cross, stopping when they beheld the bronze figure of Christ stapled high above. With easy movements, he made the sign of the cross before sitting himself in one of the pews. He didn't really know why he was here, only that he wanted to be alone to think. Or did he really? A sigh fell out of his lips and he closed his eyes tiredly.
