He returns to Pahala to bury the embarassment he felt over making a pig's ear of the modeling gig. He turns to Lani as a crutch. He puts up the money for the diner to score brownie points with her. He carps at her when further plans to weasel his way into her heart go awry. I just don't trust Russell any further than I can put the cow plant from him. Let me just once believe his motives are pure and honest and maybe I'll come around. Until then, I wish I could melt him down and use him to keep my doors from squeaking. Plus there's the fact that Meka had me in his corner until fairly recently. Even when he was tubbing with Marylena Hamilton, I was rooting for him to figure out he and Lani were meant for each other. We all know he's the one who's been in Lani's heart the longest. He's just been too blind and clueless to figure it out. It's only since he started bedding Erika that Meka's lost my moral support. If he could just grow a pair above his nose to match the one between his legs, he'd know what a stupid move that is. Makes me want to climb in my monitor and smack him silly. Lani deserves nothing but the best in a man. As long as he's with Erika, that's not Meka. It'll take a minor miracle to convince me that's Russell. Can we please see what's behind Door # 3?
