I was always afraid of messing with the cartalidge and ripping my ears all to heck ,so I left it in and bondoed. But I finally broke down and tried to remove the cartl. and had a great experience. No more shaping ears and butts and much easier to get them aligned. I too will never bondo and clay again.
Also I use Mckenzie Natra liners (ears back and alert) and 5 min epoxy, however im experimenting with Techna Glue "Real ears" right now. Will post some results on it when I have them.
