 PLEASE. Do all of you naysayers really believe that N.E.P.B.A. would offer to represent us if they had absolutely NO chance of doing so. Why would they even waste their time and energy??

Jerry Flynn is a nationally recognized labor rep and negotiator and and is extremely well versed in labor laws. Don't you think he'd HAVE to be to have survived and done as well as he has??!

Stop listening to Grunko's scare tactics and propaganda. Do you think our loss will stand him in good stead with the National? Of course he doesn't want to lose us, especially for the reasons we want to leave. Empty promises and NO action.
It's all posturing to maintain control of a group that is sick of the lack of representation and tired of being lied to as we've been up till now.
And yes, you are right. All the other groups were already eligible for group 4 BEFORE they joined N.E.P.B.A. But why did they choose to change? Think about that! Because they too were poorly represented and they wanted someone with clout and a strong voice that would be heard representing them.
And NO, we are not in the legislation. Why? Because up until now, we've had someone representing us at those hearings who has ABSOLUTELY NO clue what we do day in and day out on our jobs and couldn't even BEGIN to explain it to other people who also have no idea who we are or what we do!
With Jerry and Billy we will FINALLY have a voice and the best chance we've EVER had to be heard.

Be smart and put your emotions aside. THINK, REASON and LEARN!
