Your all kidding yourselves. You wasted your money. Exactly where do you think your going to be promoted to? The only place that really NEEDs III's is Pondville or SMCC. No one is giving up a II until they retire. There are sooooo many unfilled CPO positions throughout the DOC and, they haven't been in a rush to fill any up till now.

This is the biggest joke yet. Let's face it, were being downsized and no one will admit it!! We were told at a meeting with our Super that according to the current staffing matrix, we are not short any CPOs although at least 8 have left and haven't been replaced. He also said that if any of us attempt to transfer, he'd block it!!

You figure it out. IMS , New Class Policy, Point Based Scores,and the computer age. What are they going to need us for??? Class bds one a year? Hand out account printouts and indigent supplies??? Points now dictate what mamangement used to rely in our knowledge, experience and judgement!!!!!! If I were a CO I'd never sit on a board now, FOR WHAT??? Our input now means SHIT!!, not that it ever meant much but it was something.

You've all been had and HRD & Civil Service are laughing all the way to the bank!
