I'm thinking it's not against the Howe school in particular but against the severe lack of feis in SA overall - although it has been the catalyst for this particular thread. I'm sure most people don't know of Mrs Howe's circumstance's - I'd be prompt to wish her/her family the best!! I really think it's quite sad that there are no feis for the kids to dance in now til Feb next year!! I'd love to run a feis, but without a TCRG it can't be registered with the Commisiun! -- South Australian Irish dance board

So are you saying we shouldn't both to aspire to run more feis, to just back and take it as it is?? A rather defeatest attitude don't you think? - I am sure you are correct and this is the case.... I put forward that there be a 'feis commitee' within AIDA so that there could be more feis run with the work-load and cost spread out amongst the various schools!!
