 I am building a 86 with a SBC with a 400 trans and the trans fit just fine. I used a PA racing K member and a AJE trans cross member for the 400. Bolted right up. I can send you some pictures if it will help. Good luck.

Did you have to modify the pa k member to work with the chevy motor?I'm working on my 86 lx,with a 74 350 4bolt main ,bored .060 over,with 202 heads and torker 2 intake and holley 650 dbl pmpr.I was thinking the tubular k member would help with the headers.?
