I think that IF you go as near to the glans as possible and about 1cm depth (not into the shaft please!!!!!!!) then you could easily miss the frenular arteries.

BUT.................. IF you want to use a light, then you will probably need an LED torch or something which has a small point of emission. My reasoning behind this is that the idea is to shine through the area without dazzling yourself with the light......... The more light that is shone onto the frenulum area and NOT into your eyes would be better.

I seriously would say that for those of you that have willing partners For goodness sake, at least get them to shine a torch and study the area!!!!!

You can usually bring the foreskin back into it's original position BUT now I realise that could be a cause of some of our failures........ Imagine the tension on anything if you cut it when it is under tension.............It is much easier to cut.........and will spring apart. So.....what I am thinking.. is that creating a tension on the tied area will help the cut to peel apart gradually and to seperate without any annoying re-healing and presumable, in my case, white, ulcerated (blood restricted tissue)
By the way, if you do get the hard, white tissue, you can slice it away very carefully with a sharp stanley blade.......Even without a local anaesthetic cream such as EMLA. Trust me, I know.........lol......... I even had to do a couple of slices on some infected parts of the cut frenulum and near the meatus lol......to remove some clear fluid that built up........without anaesthetic, so BE CAREFUL........

Another problem is, would it be better to tie the frenular arteries to possibly avoid build up of blood or presumably antibodies etc..........???????

I thought about a surgical cable tie lol.................. and I looked at this............. It seems the idea is out there.............
tighten as you go lol.......................

Another thing is this........... Once some tissue is cut through, it will loosen.......how do we avoid this issue....?

Bob p advised "soak in warm water 3 times per day"
I use a cheap digital thermometer and I can tolerate 44 degrees ish of water temp............... in a coffee jar lol.......

Maybe this enlarges the skin tissue temporarily as well as making it very soft, therefore perhaps, we should degrease the area first, soak in water to create the soft effect that our toes or fingers have if we are in the bath too long................apply EMLA ten mins after..Leave for ten mins,.........do the tying...........
Will the skin absorb more emla or less or will it penetrate deeper than it should??? Questions??????????????? lol

After the tying, we can do the 3 x warm water dunk and see what happens..........
By the way, if you get a coffee jar and a rubber glove.....ooer.you can carefully make a rubber seal around the jar end. You can then insert yourself and seal, which means you can actually hold that on your groin area, whilst reading or something, without getting too bored and impatient of waiting for the 15-20 mins. It makes a big difference for me......I can even lie on my bed lol.... Obviously, if someone walks in on you, just tell them it's a new way of drinking......... with one eyebrow raised........
It may still help to have a towel as, if you move the jar, it may leak slightly. ..........Anyway, whatever you choose, let's learn so that everyone similarly afflicted can handle themselves........
