Cole,

Keep the EZ Street class around for 2006. I know of two cars being built for the class. It is going to grow no dobt about it. I recommend trying to get some of those http://www.factorystreet.com cars to come up and run in EZ Street. They have 25-30 cars show up for that class and all they would have to do to run EZ Street is change tires.

Congrats to all the winners in every class!! A BIG congradulations to Mike and Boyd Arbaugh for their wins in Real Street and True Radial. You guys are a great group of racers, I guess you can even say Tony somewhere in there, but you guys worked hard all year long and did it with class and nobody deserved it more this last race. Congrats to Billy Stocklin for his win in Outlaw 10.5. Buster Smith won in Super Outlaw over Ken Thomas who shattered the track record not once not twice but I believe 3 times. Clay Selig has his stock suspension turbo car running on rails and got the win over Mike Graham in his beautiful camaro. Shane Parker won in the finals of EZ Street over Donnie Davidson in his Luv Truck. True Radial was normal pickins for Boyd Arbaugh in his Nova. 6.0 and 7.0 classes were awesome with very high car counts and Sonny Reeves winning the 6.0 and Devin Dew the street machine winning 7.0. There is a lot more to talk about but this last race was the smoothest and best race all year far as Im concerned because every class its best car count.... other outlaw 10.5. But Thanks Again Guys!!

Alright here are a few things that you might need to know about the up coming race.

8:00 am Gates Open
11:00 am Qualifying
2:00 pm Eliminations

In Qualifying You will run 2 qualifying passes and will rotate lanes each qualifiers. Your car will be marked during tech with either a left or right and when you come back for the 2nd round you will run the opposite side in which you ran the first pass.

When a car is stopped at the top end and needs assistance only a limited number of crew member(s) are allowed to assist his or her driver. We dont want 15 people running down to pick up one car.

Ladders Bars will be allowed in EZ Street with a 100# penalty. This is a trial rule it may or may not take place next year.

6.0 and 7.0 Index Classes will not run ladders they will be paired with their partner in the lanes. This will save a lot of time and confusion for you guys.

In all other classes we will not use set ladders unless a class consist of 4 8 16 or 32 cars on the number.

Thats all I can think of right now but one other thing. This has been a great year for the Prescott Outlaws with only 2 races. We have had 2 unforunate rain outs but other than that the 2 races we had were awesome with lots of cars and lots of fans. We had delays in both events but that is just the way it goes with a series of 8 classes and close to 100 cars competeting. When it all comes back down to it in heads up racing its about consistancy and whos got what it takes to win. You guys were class acts at both events and I appreciate that. This is a great series and will continue to grow with its growing support. Thanks Again and I hope you guys have a great time in 2006 as well.....

OK.... Sounds good on the EZ Street talk. There has been good discussion on the class so now this is what I want. 100 lbs extra for ladder bar cars. But be aware of a lot of the other rules they are pretty strict when it comes to appearence... SO FOLLOW THEM ALL!!! I want to go ahead and start a roll call for next race. TALK THE CLASS UP!!!! We gotta have a good showing this last race for the class so build the interest with other racers. I know a few super street 10.5 guys may drop down but thats ok if you fit the rules whos complaining?? This is a pretty good class so we really need a good showing this last race to keep it alive. Sorry to annouce the race for this weekend is Cancelled due to chance of rain and the hurricane issues in Houston. We have a lot of guys that come up from that way and also in the mississippi louisana area and we do not want to cause complications with them or their families. I hope every one can understand the situation. This is the second race we have cancelled this year due to rain but this one is far worse and we think it would just be best for everyone to go ahead and settle down and start preparing for the next race. Alright this set ladders deal is working out to a certain extent and that extent is when we start getting very odd numbers of cars in a set field. The 2 ways we could solve this is one either cut the ladders off to the closet set ladder ex: 10 cars in a 8 car ladder 2 will be cut. Or we could use the ladder system which the tower makes with a odd number of cars and just let it fly. The thing is Larry nor I want to send any person home who wants to run with us. But the problem with the odd number ladders is that there are chances 1 and 2 could meet up before the finals. What do you guys think? We have been having good enough racing that the odd ladders wouldnt be bad there would only be one bye a round easier on the eyes for spectators and in the heads of heads up racers. The odd numbered ladders also sometimes work to the advantage of cars that are lower in the bracket that lives the little guy a chance sometimes which I think is good. Just let me know what you guys think we are trying to work things out to make this as smooth of a show as possibly. Sorry I havent been talking much but you guys havent been yelling at me any so I just liked the silence, haha but we know that will all change here pretty soon. Thanks Guys and cant wait till the 24th!!!!

What's you guys, I wanted to let some of the central Arkansas racers know that there suppose to be a race the weekend of of the 27 and 28th of this month at the Fairgrounds Dragway. There will be a test n tune one day and race on the other, but to get more info you need to call the Fairgrounds at (501) 372-8341.
If you can make it please come, because the more people that come, the more money they collect to build the new racetrack for next year.
****Also, keep this in mind. Society is run by money, so if the executives at the Fairgrounds see how profitible drag racing is, then the likelyhood of us getting Arkansas first legit 1/4 mile track will greatly increase. The more people they have the better the track will become. Please don't let another track die because of no participation.****

Sincerely, Adriel Paradise

Hey Cole, Have yall thought about having more races. Maybe trow in some smaller races. It would be nice to have a monthly shootout. Smaller payout would be fine. Maybe $1000 for Outlaw 10.5. The spectator count would still be good. Alot of us local racers are sitting around wishing we had races to go to but don't want to go 500+ miles to race. Although I would like to. Heck, I fianally have my truck ready and I can't find a single race this month to go to that's not super far off. It's just a thought, but I think a monthly shootout would be great.
