Sure is quiet around here with the race only being a week away. Who's gonna win it? Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, or will the money stay in Arkansas? There should be a few Mississippi cars that make the race.

We will have a 6.0 Index class at the May 21st Outlaw Race. Rules right now is body cars only... and thats all I have. Stuff like no down track timing devices or illegal timing devices allowed. But it will be $1000 to win $500 to runner up. 16 car field $50 entry. Will be on Pro Ladder. .400 Pro Tree 1/8th Mile. I guess this will give some of the Real Street guys who dont fit the rules a place to run in the Outlaw Races but I hope we can get the rules sorted the first race. We were planning on having a drivers meeting but we figure the best way to get everybody together at once will be a race. Thanks and I hope this will help our Outlaw Program take a step towards being that much better.

Ozark International Raceway in Springfield Mo. has agreed to open a Real Street class on their monthly shoot outs. The rules are posted on their web site, Phil said that they are not set in stone. He says show and run and he will change the rules as needed to fit what the racers want from the class. Maybe some of you guys can make the drive so Phil will see it's a good class and it will give us another group of shoot outs to race.

If you have any ideas of how you think the race would work smoother give me info on that. We have the new tech lane paved at the top end. There will be some new style tech cards this year and information given at the gate. Larry and I were in a rush to get alot of stuff finished for the first race and were ready but that only means we will be that much more ready for the next race so, good thing I guess. Just give me some input if you feel it might benefit the series. Thanks

The race will not be reschedule we will just go ahead and make plans for the 2nd race of the year on May 21st. The Friday Night Test and Tune will still go on tonight. I hope to still see alot of guys out to try and start preperations for the next race. We worked hard trying to get everything ready for this weekend, but cant take the risk of not getting a chance to run. Hope to see everyone MAY 21st!!!

If you would like to call me 870-245-8505 I have been looking at the weather non stop so I will be able to give you a heads up. But keep a eye on the boards and site for weather. When Mud Duck shows up, if any of you think your chevy is bad then you will have yourself a little match/grudge race, that is if you aint skeered!!! Then we will see for sure what is #1!! Anything from a 6-71 up must have 2 carbs because a Roots blower is very touchy to restriction above the rotors. If you can have 5000 bucks worth of turbo, efi, and laptop I think a couple of old school carbs on an antique design compressor should be OK, just make a stipulation in the rules that 2 carbs only allowed on Roots style blowers.Nothing looks as cool as a big blower sticking out of the hood,it's a crowd draw.

Negative comments about the Real Street stuff were getting old and got deleted, it makes the series look bad when people come visit our board and see negative comments about a class that is truely one of the most successful and competitive in our racing series. This is where this stuff goes from here right now. The rules stand till March 26th, there will be a racers meeting come to it or dont, if you truely want to run with us and have fun then I guess you will come and be involved, but if not thats fine this racing series will be successfull one way or another. There will be several topics brought up such as tires, intakes, and carbs that we will vote on if necessary. Thanks Alot to Donnie, Bobby, and Danny for coming out and running Saturday, pretty good show!!!

Cole; Nsca and PRO you can run fuel injection. What are the rules on that? I plan on trying it on my Chevelle. I don't think that there is a lot more horsepower in it. But I do think that it is alot more tunable. Which is what this class is all about. I plan on making the next race. Won't be ready for this one. It is the way of the future!

You guys havent had much to say here in the past week. The first race is close to a month away. Any questions or suggestions for race day? Im getting bored with stuff to do, if you noticed I made a few new banners for the front page. Click refresh on the www.PrescottOutlaws.net homepage and you will see what im talking about. Im going to work on our radio advertisement and getting ahold of some sponsors today, if you know of any business or person who might be a target sponsor or who might be interested, just post their name and number if you know it. That would be tremendous help for me to get ahold of good sponsors. Anyways its getting closer to the day, hope all the twicking, last minute changes, and sorting is going good. Rules are set, check those out. Thanks Alot for you Guys and Gals and your cooperation its going to be a Great Year!!!!
