Then why bring your business to the board if you do not want it discussed? And when someone asks your name I do hope what you are giving out you have legally obtained a DBA from the state of Indiana b/c if you do not- you ARE a fraud running a business entity and using a fake name. You may be in the pageant industry for years, but law is law- you may need to brush up on it or get advice from an att. in your area. What you are doing can be considered a crime (case law)if you do not have the proper paperwork filled out and trying to run a business (pageant) under a false/fictitious name. You should also be aware you can not make claims to have run other businesses that you were never affiliated with as well. That is considered to be defrauding the potential customer and also a crime. You need to think before you speak, call up and get a proper business license to run a pageant, get a tax id number and file for business under fictitious name. And don't say you don't have to- I've run a couple businesses myself here in Indiana and had to get one EVERY single time from the courthouse.
