My take on your message is you have me, the pageant mom that does not give the same name as my pageant or photo contest or even business name, and this pageant director confused with one another.
and it is not fraudulant to go by both my names! I don't know why you think it is and I have probably been in the pageant industry longer than you have.
And why on earth do you say "She also mentions that she knows how crazy pageant moms are and she does not want to get her family involved, etc. If that were the case, why would she run a pageant system in the first place?" Why do directors have to share their personal life with you????? I have always been told, seperate your work from your family life. Let me tell you a story. I was at Wal Mart, I saw the director of a VERY large pageant, VERY well known pageant, I had been to her house on SEVERAL occassions on pageant related stuff. I thought about going over to talk to her, but I could tell she was shopping for the pageant and she was with her husband and I did not think it was right for me to go up and start a conversation with her. I suppose that you think if a director is with their family they should drop everything to turn into director mode just because you are there. That is EXACTLY what you are saying.
I used to sponsor my dd in pageants as well, I no longer do that since I do not want my home name associated with my business name while at a pageant. And there is NOTHING wrong with that.
So in your next post, don't bring me up when talking about someone else.
