Congratulations Troops!!

Hey Gang,

It's been a long day or I would have gotten out here sooner. I am so proud of you guys that words are not adequate. You did this! As the Wall Street Journal stated, talks only truly began in May (just one month after the cancellations were announced). If you will recall, this is when we were raising the dead with the ruckus we were making! Hoover had pulled their ads, and our voices were rather hard to ignore. Many wonderful groups out there worked so incredibly hard on our behalf to help make this happen. Who has ever done this before! We beat the odds, and although I have some serious reservations, this is what we prayed for (to see the shows continue)! You are always telling me that I rock, but it's all of you who are the real rockstar�s today! We actually made a difference! We kept pressure on the wound, and it is beginning to heal! We may have some scars obviously, but we will survive! I love you guys! I came home, saw all of this, and was completely overwhelmed!

I will tell you that I definitely have some concerns (I wouldn't trust ABC if their tongues were notarized and blessed by the pope)! I think I would feel better if this had been sold to someone not even remotely Disney related in any way. None of us saw this coming. They obviously kept a very tight lid on this. I will wait to see the finished product before I completely exhale to make sure they truly go through with what they have promised, but for now, I will take what I can get! I'm not fond of watching things online, but this could pave the way for other soaps to actually be resurrected (I am going to have to buy one of those Wii's or something so that I am not sitting at a computer longer than I need to)! As it is, I don't watch streaming Netflix for this reason, but I guess we all need to roll with the punches somehow.

Now that a deal has been reached, it's going to change a few things to be sure. You guys are going to have to be patient and understand that we are all going to need a little adjustment time to get our bearings again. I'm not sure how this will affect the news I was given on Valentini & Tomlin now that this has been finalized, but I am told they are still going to be in the mix (we may also see Paul Rauch here at some point as well). I am told that GH is still wrapping in July to be off by September, however it seems rather obvious that they will most likely be picked up in the same manner as well (although I do not have confirmation on this yet). I will keep you posted as always.

For those of you who are skeptical, you are not alone my friends. I feel that something isn't quite right, but I am not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. I will be furious and inconsolable if we find that this is not what it appears to be in the end. I do not believe that Agnes would lie to us, and it is because of Agnes that I feel some genuine hope and happiness here today.

Thank you to all of the groups out there who worked so incredibly hard on our behalf! We owe this to all of you! Thank you to Silas Kain, Delibernation, Flo Dibono, Andrea Kollo, Marji Messner, Jeff Rodack, Globe Magazine, Cat Hickland (for keeping us inspired and speaking out so bravely), Jerry Ver Dorn, and all of my readers out there who kept the fires burning for us all. I apologize profusely if I am missing anyone here (exhausted today).

P.S. Please do not ask me for details. A great many of us are wondering how they will put this all together, but I am sure we will learn more as we go along. Unfamiliar territory for us all. :)

Agnes wouldn't lie to us but they would lie to her :( . I hope my favorites stick around if not.. sigh, I hope they are at least given a happy ending. I hope the good stays and the trash is taken out :) Don't ruin it OLTL is HOT!

I am very happy they are getting a second chance I hope its not blown by TIIC. I'll miss seeing them on my semi big screen but I won't complain heck maybe I'll hook the computer up to the tv...if it all works out lol

Does this mean that those two from OLTL are still going to GH?
