Hey Gang,

It's that time again, so pull up a chair and get ready for more industrial strength lather. The lather is even thicker this week as fans attempt to decipher the latest developments in the saga known as All My Cancellations (the soap behind the soap)! Never has a network seen a campaign of this magnitude. Our voices were mighty and strong, and more importantly, they were heard. So many of you are responsible for this victory. Every last one of you who took up the fight and sent in a letter, mailed in a coupon, sent an e-mail, contacted a sponsor, and never gave up, this is your victory! Susan Lucci was right, we are on fire, and those powerful flames were obviously hard to ignore. Every soap fan out there owes the people that fought for us, a major debt of gratitude! A big thank you going out to Globe Magazine and Soaps In Depth for their help with the coupon campaign (headed by Silas Kain and Flo DiBona)! You guys rock!! In that vein, many are still continuing on with the coupon campaign in the hopes of getting us a soap channel, and to support the genre in general (a real accounting of our massive numbers). Fans also have another major campaign up their sleeve in trying to get Catherine Hickland on for next season's "Celebrity Apprentice"! She really is so deserving. Cat raises the bar. She is gifted, stunning, loveable, and incredibly genuine. She's in a league of her own (always has been). She's approachable, and real. There are no airs about Cat. That's incredibly rare these days (and yet she is larger than life in so many ways). We feel she is a perfect representative of all that is glamorous, exciting, and wicked (everything we love in a soapy leading lady). She could really hold her own quite well in this setting. I hope that Trump recognizes the unique timing and rethinks his strategy for next season! Long time soap advocate Ryan Clements has actually produced an incredibly well done video to get our message across! A must see for fans of Cat's!

I told you guys that I had some news to share on the downside of this deal (because as wonderful as the news is, there is a dark side). First off, we are dealing with ABC who has lied to us several times without blinking (this has not gone unnoticed by the cast and crew, many of which are still completely in the dark). I've had more than one cast and crew-member tell me that they read my column for the truth. Once I came back down to earth, I found it rather sad. These people should not have to come to me or anyone else for the truth. They should be the first to know (not the last)! And people expect me to get everything correct when even the cast and crew don't know what is going on half the time (and they work there)!

You know that no matter what, I will always be honest with you. That's never going to change. I can be wrong. It's OK to be wrong, as long as you are being truthful. I was told quite clearly that Disney had in fact received offers to broadcast these shows on the air by other entities. They turned them down flat. This is the ex-girlfriend that Disney will never allow another to date. They don't want to see her happy and thriving in another man�s arms. They realized the pressure was mounting, and put together this deal rather quickly. Disney will still profit from the deal, and retain certain rights. We got the only deal that was even possible. They never truly intended to sell these shows (disappointing I know).

Many of those working behind the scenes are putting on a brave front until they know more. Many will not be able to make the transition. Already we've seen the spin-cyle begin with the press stating that actors are refusing to take pay cuts. Fans are already being herded to blame all actors who cannot live with the new deal. I had one of my readers question the loyalty of the actors due to a Fox article that mentioned actors who would not be making the transition for financial reasons. Let's talk about loyalties. Actors are loyal to their mortgage companies, landlords, and to the many bills they must pay. This is their first concern. They love what they do, but like us, they must pay their bills. Their first loyalty is to the well being of their families. The cuts are going to be massive. This is a double-edged sword for everyone. Yes, they are thrilled about the shows being saved, but now they must deal with the reality of the situation. One actor called this deal a Trojan Horse. Some feel it is smoke and mirrors only. I guess we will know soon enough my friends.....

Finally, a big thank you once again to my new NBC source who told me that Patrick Muldoon and Christie Clarke would be returning to the fold before it was heard anywhere else first! I was also told that Darnell Williams may be on his way to Y&R as well as Debbie Morgan (of course this was before the prospect Park deal was announced)....

OK guys, freshen up those Frappe's and Latte's, and away we go............

A recast for a major leading lady is in the works for the transition to Prospect Park. A familiar face may return to the role she created (another Prospect Park deal). Tomas goes out with a bang (told you that Ted King would not be staying). A Tale Of Two Todd's heats up to a frenzy (that moment is coming). As I told fans weeks back, look for Tea to exit once this story wraps. Massive rewrites have taken place to the point where things are going to look a bit choppy here soon. Trying to keep it all straight has been quite the task (I warned you this was coming). Nobody is going to have everything straight right now. There is no such thing as a perfect score my friends (not in this industry)! Page Mt. Olympus if you are seeking perfection (good luck with that)!

Most of the people set to return have been scrapped (AMC will get more returns as they were already planned, and the show stops filming sooner). A great deal has been changed due to the new Prospect Park deal. The teen scene is being cut in half. One major vet is not even being approached for the new deal (not happy there at all). If you think you are seeing a lot of Tess in Jess, you are not imagining things (welcome to the new Jessica)!

Several months back, I told you the show was hoping for Nash part 2 with Ford and Tess, and here we are (enjoy the ride). Natalie gets the shock of her life, and Brody goes postal. Rex gets caught up in his own game, and realizes that he has become his father. Two more deaths are on their way......

I told fans back in January that Jax would be leaving with Brenda in Tow (and that Jax would lose custody of Josslyn). It's coming to a screen near you very soon. A so-called hush hush recast is in the works, but I gave GH fans a clue earlier on. This one is going to shock fans everywhere. That's not the only recast in the works (we have two coming).

Ronan makes an appearance, and turns the tables on Lucky. Lucky faces those familiar demons once again. Siobhan takes ill. Liz and Lucky have moments that remind them of the past. Sam and Jason grow closer to that Diamond ring. Anthony realizes that the way to a man�s heart is to hurt the women that love him. Carly is off balance, but finds her strength in the form of a new fight (old rival�s die-hard). Look for Ric to return when Alexis needs his help the most. Kristina is devastated after Ethan is shot. Ted King returns......

I'm still hearing that Tamara Braun will be returning as Kate (we will know soon enough if they went ahead with this or scrapped it entirely). Announcement should be coming soon. Hang in there......
