Subject: Latest 11/3/12 Facebook posting

Hey Guys, I thought I would give you an update on things (I am beginning to realize that those days of positive updates on me may be long gone). I want so much to give you wonderful news. I honestly feel like the princess of doom here lately. Monday I am going in for a full body Bone Scan. I've been bedridden lately from the pain. I've never had to take to my bed like this in my life. The pain is indescribable. It feels like my bones have been pulled on a rack. It's a very difficult pain to control. We found out on Friday that severe Bone pain is a symptom of advanced Angiosarcoma (made me sick to my stomach to learn this). I had no idea, and this means whether the cancer has gone to my bones yet or not, this pain is here to stay. I never bothered to look up the actual symptoms of Angiosarcoma before as I already knew I had it. All I do know is that it is the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. I've been tasting blood for the past week and spitting up a little bit as well (we are guessing that's the Angiosarcoma that is around my windpipe and straddling my clavicle now). The combination has both John and I spending every moment together that we possibly can. I've even got him watching America's Next Top Model with me, and that's something he would never do in the past. LOL. It's kind of funny and cute, but both of us are scared.

It was one thing to have the doctors tell me that there is no hope, but for us to begin feeling this way too now, has us both out of sorts. I have always been so strong. Come hell or high water, I am pushing through to do my show with Linda Evans once we can get it rescheduled. I'm not letting cancer take that show away from me. I am awaiting a long shot, which we started working on last week to finally get back to me, and let me know when they can get us in, so that I can get back to Laura (Linda Evans kind and lovely assistant). Then I would be able to let her know what days are bad as I have no idea right now until we hear back from them. Linda would like to do an early day show, so that is why I need to find out when this center can get us in first (it would just be my luck to schedule it on the day that they say they can get me in). They have already ordered a copy of all of my paperwork from my Oncologist's office, and wanted to look over all of that first before scheduling me. They know what the other doctors have told me in terms of my case being hopeless now, however they still want to see me, so I guess that's something. We know that it could be just another wasted trip only to have them to turn us away once again, but I guess the human spirit is stronger than anything you can throw at it. I will always keep you in the loop as I have from the very beginning. Not as cheerful as I once, but my spirit remains intact. I love you..♥

I have never posted to your messages but I have been following you closely. I want you to know what a comfort you have been to me. I am not sick and I am not facing the end of life but I can only hope and pray that I have the same strength and wonderful spirit that you have. When that time comes for me I have your posts to reflect on and it will give me strength and comfort. You are incredibly strong with such a beautiful spirit. Thank you so much for sharing this very personal journey. It has impacted me and my life in ways I cannot describe. You will be in my prayers and my thoughts. I wish you peace and comfort. My prayers are with you. Again, there are many of us who have never posted but, all the while have been praying for you. I believe that you are a miracle. Your spirit is strong and you are a fighter. You will be victorious, no matter what the future holds.

Dear Raven,

I don't know how old or good you mattress is on your bed, but if you need a new one get one because it will help your back.
I learned the hard way when I had severe back trouble and bought a new mattress it helped tremendously, but also have to give my chiropractor a lot of credit. I hope you feel better and hope you heed this message. XOXO
