Jesus take the wheel (if I had any hair left to pull out, I would)! This thing that a few of you very close to me know I have been battling over the past week, is going full blown on me despite my efforts to beat it back. I end up in the emergency room almost every year because of how sick I get in the winter, and this CANNOT happen in the middle of chemo! When I get sick even without chemo, I am down for months, not weeks as it is (I hate my immune system). This has always been my Achilles Heel. Remember Raspybeauty? She's making a comeback. I need this chemo session today or I will have missed two treatments in a row, and the cancer will gain ground.

John and I are planning on going in as scheduled and let my Oncologist make the decision. They will do the blood work and decide, but I am incredibly frustrated right now. I have taken EVERYTHING you can imagine. Just dumped another $100,00 at iHerb the other day when I felt it coming on (should arrive today). I don't think I have been this angry in a long time. JUST ONE WINTER is all I wanted! We avoid crowds, wear masks, wash our hands in hot soapy water, and use Purell constantly. I don't know if it's the Flu or a cold. Today is a big day because we were set to do both chemo's (Abraxane and Avastin). I can't lose ground. For my beloved friends out here who have undergone chemo, have you ever taken Tamiflu with chemo? Is there another antiviral they can give you in a situation like this? My white count was very low last week, and I need those counts to give me some fight against whatever this is that I have caught. Any experience with Tamiflu? I know it's super early for most of you (have not been able to sleep). I will check back before I leave today and see if there are any suggestions so I can ask him when I go in today. I am great on the alternative remedy stuff and have anything you can probably name right now, but none of it is stopping this. Loaded up on Colloidal Silver, Airborne, Sambucol, Beta Glucans, Cinnamon, Ginger, Honey, Lemon, irrigating my nose, Vitamin D and C, Oil Of Oregano, Garlic, Christopher's Lung & Bronchial, Curcumin from Turmeric, Goldenseal, Lysine, NAC, and the list goes on! You guys have given me so many precious pearls out here. Suggestions are welcome! I love you! XOXOXOXOXO! ♥

I wish I could give you ideas, but I didn't have anything that helped when I had low white counts. Had them for 8 weeks, went in every week for blood work, being sent home until the next week. I tried eating lamb more often, one of the nurses suggested that, but I didn't get really the vomiting and such that most get. I had a reaction to the chemo, but they would give me antihistamene with the saline push, before the chemo itself that took care of that. I hope that everything goes well, you're in my prayers and thoughts, dear heart.

Somewhat out of an old folk remedy but look at the reviews on Amazon for Swedish Bitters. Might help! Good luck--you'll fight this.

Hi. Don't know if you ever watch Dr. Oz's show, but he
was talking recently about how kiwi fruit is really good
for you....lots of Vit. C and other good stuff to boost
your immunity..Vitamin K, too, and potassium. Don't know
if the kiwi has anything in it that would interfere with
your medicines or treatment but if not, maybe this would
be something good for you to try. His website is
www.doctoroz.com If you put "Kiwi" into the site's
searchbox, you'll get some good video and articles on
this fruit. First one is the most recent and it's called
"Kiwi: the Energy Boosting Fruit." (a video). Next thing
listed is an article that talks about how kiwi can help
your immunity. It might be worth your while in general
to type different things into Dr. Oz's searchbox to see
if you can come up with anything that might help you, as
he believes in using nutrition and all sorts of things
to help patients. Always check with your doc if you come
across anything you might need help with, though.
Good luck from JD. !!!

(((Ravenbeauty)))

1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in an 8 or 12 oz glass of spring water 3 times a day. Without this, I could never fight off even a cold.
Can be sweetened, if needed.

ALL MY LOVE,
Hannah
