Date Posted: 14/11/07 17:58 Sorry for using the Garden as a kind of running blog lol. But I have awesome news :D Not long got of the phone to the vet, well our vet said that they were not going to referral Starski to specialist. As the specialist has looked at the X-ray and said that, "yes Starski has back issue, but not enough to warrant the amount of pain, and the fact he can't walk. and to start looking for something else." So poor pup has been prodded and poked and at last we have found the problem. For the past few months Starski has been treated for an ear infection. Every time we have been for check ups I've had the vet look at his ears and give us antibiotics. Well on Monday when we took for his back again, he was giving different ear drops. And it was found he had a really, really nasty bacterial infection his ears were full of puss. Because of all the puss they couldn't see his inner ear had perforated. So the collapsing and not being able to walk came from a blown ear drum. No balance and horrific pain! oh oh and he had toxic reaction to the ear drops poor git :( Yay! ok maybe not Yay but hay no more maybe we are going to have to put him to sleep. And if the vets weren't as caring as mine are he could of been sliced and diced. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
