i still find it hard to get in touch with the love among difficult people at work, i want to snub some of them and ignore them....how do you overcome this?

There is good in everyone sweetsong. Try to see that. People behave how they do for a reason which may not always be evident. We all have our own troubles and its easy to forget that sometimes.

May be you should create some positive energy around them as they may well be reacting to your negative vibes. Make everyone a coffee or take a packet of biscuits in at brak time - something to cheer them up and think how great you are. That really will make you feel good and could just be the ice breaker.
